What to have ready

You do not need drawings or a specification. You need to be able to describe five things.

• What the space is. House, apartment, storefront, whole structure, garage, driveway or rear extension
• What is coming out. Everything, or a defined part of it. Rough is fine
• Which floor, and the way out. A ground floor beside a driveway and a fifth floor walk-up are different jobs
• Where a truck can sit. Driveway, kerb, side passage, or nothing obvious
• When. A date, a window, or as soon as it can happen

Photographs help more than measurements do, especially of the route from the room to the door.
